Terms and Conditions

BOOKINGS

All styling sessions are available by appointment only and are conducted between 10am- 6pm Tuesday to Friday and 10:00am - 3:00pm Saturday (AEST).

All initial appointments are held virtually by Google Meet.

Advance booking is highly recommended, especially for weekends, peak holiday seasons, and bridal services, which are often reserved weeks or months in advance.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

To allow us to deliver your engagement within the agreed timeframes and guarantees, you agree to provide accurate information about your sizing, budget and preferences, respond to requests for decisions or approvals within a reasonable time and no later than 5 business days unless otherwise agreed, attend scheduled appointments and sessions or reschedule with the required notice, and let us know promptly of any change to your wedding date, budget or brief. Guarantee timeframes run from the date we deliver our side of the engagement, delays caused by late decisions, responses or information on your part are not counted against those timeframes.

PAYMENT POLICY

Payment terms depend on what you're booking. Your Bridal Styling Session and any digital products require full payment upfront to secure your appointment. Bridal styling packages are booked following your Bridal Styling Session, and you may choose to pay in full upfront, or secure your booking with a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% balance due 8 weeks later. Personal styling and motherhood styling packages may be paid in full upfront, or through Afterpay. Once your date and time have been confirmed, you will be taken through to an online payment checkout to finalise your booking. Please note, your booking is only confirmed once payment, or your deposit, has been received.

Please note:
Payment must be received within 24 hours of invoice issue. Unpaid invoices after this time may result in cancellation and release of your reserved booking.

Prices do not include GST, as Victoria Ellison is not currently registered for GST.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel with more than 72 hours' notice, you are eligible for a refund, minus a 50% appointment holding fee.
If you cancel with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund will be issued.
Once a session has commenced or is completed, no refund can be provided.
Your engagement is taken to have commenced on the date your signed client agreement and deposit are both received. This is the point after which the above cancellation terms apply in full.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

If you reschedule with more than 72 hours' notice, a credit will be issued, valid for 6 months from the original booking date.
If you reschedule with less than 72 hours’ notice, a 20% rebooking fee will apply.
Each booking is eligible for one complimentary reschedule. Additional reschedules will incur a 20% rebooking fee per change.
All rescheduling is subject to stylist availability.

LATE ARRIVALS & MISSED SESSIONS

If you arrive late, your session will proceed for the remainder of the scheduled time and will not run longer.
If you fail to attend without notice or cancel with insufficient notice, no refund or reschedule will be provided.

POSTPONED WEDDINGS

If your wedding date is postponed, your engagement and any fees already paid are retained and applied to your styling engagement at the new date, provided the new date falls within 12 months of the original wedding date. Any guarantees tied to a specific event run from that event's originally scheduled date, and may no longer apply if a postponement pushes the event outside its guarantee window. A postponement beyond 12 months is treated as a new engagement, with re-booking subject to availability and pricing at that time and any fees already paid may be applied to the new engagement at Victoria Ellison's discretion.

SERVICE AREAS & TRAVEL POLICY

All sessions are virtual and are available worldwide.

If Victoria Ellison holds an in-person service, these are available in:

Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast (Australia) and surrounding suburbs
Travel included within 30 minutes of the CBD in each respective city
For travel beyond 30 minutes, an additional service fee of $75 per 30 minutes of travel will be charged and payable prior to the session commencing.
Any travel expenses outside of these areas will be covered by the client.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

While every effort is made to pre-plan and research your styling session, Victoria cannot guarantee availability of specific sizes, stock or product pricing in-store or online.

Victoria is not liable for any issues that may arise with third-party retailers (including faulty items, delays, or returns).

ENDING YOUR ENGAGEMENT

We may end an engagement at any time by giving written notice, where continuing is no longer workable, for example due to a breakdown in communication, unsafe or abusive conduct, or a conflict of interest that arises after booking. Where this occurs, you'll be refunded for services not yet delivered, less any costs already reasonably incurred on your behalf, such as boutique appointment fees paid to secure your appointments.

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party is liable for a delay or failure to meet an obligation where that delay or failure results from circumstances beyond that party's reasonable control, including illness, natural disaster, extreme weather, boutique or venue closure, government restriction, or failure of a third-party supplier. Where such circumstances continue for more than 30 days, either party may reschedule the affected part of the engagement, or it may be treated as a postponement under the Cancellation Policy above.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All documents, digital products, style reports, moodboards, Google Meet recordings, shoppable links, guides, or lookbooks provided to you as part of your session are strictly for personal use.

You may not reproduce, repurpose or distribute any materials to third parties without written consent from Victoria Ellison.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Valid for 3 years from issue date
Non-refundable, not redeemable for cash
Should the service redeemed be of less value than the gift voucher, a credit will be issued for the remaining amount
May be transferred to another service of equal or greater value (difference must be paid)
All standard terms and conditions apply to gift voucher bookings

By purchasing any Digital Resource from Victoria Ellison, you agree to the following terms:

These Digital Resources and all related content are the intellectual property of Victoria Ellison and are protected under Australian and international copyright law.

License of Use

These Digital Resources are licensed for individual, personal use only. It may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, shared, distributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Victoria Ellison.

If you are a stylist, educator, or professional using this material in your own work or client sessions, you must request a commercial license. Unauthorised use or distribution will be pursued legally.

No Refunds

Due to the digital nature of these Digital Resources, all sales are final. No refunds will be given once the product has been purchased and delivered. Please read all product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
