Refund policy

OVERVIEW

Victoria Ellison provides digital products and service-based offerings including (but not limited to) styling services, consultations, digital guides, programs, and downloadable resources.

Due to the nature of our products and services, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

By purchasing from our website, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS

All digital products are delivered electronically and contain proprietary content and intellectual property.

Because digital products:

  • Are delivered instantly or made accessible immediately after purchase, and
  • Cannot be returned, and
  • Contain protected intellectual property

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for digital products under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind
  • Accidental purchase
  • Failure to use the product
  • Deciding the product is not suitable after purchase
  • Lack of expected results or outcomes

We strongly encourage you to read all product descriptions carefully before purchasing and to contact us with any questions prior to checkout.

SERVICES (STYLING, CONSULTATIONS, PROGRAMS ETC.)

This policy applies to all service-based offerings, including but not limited to:

  • Personal styling services
  • Bridal or event styling
  • Virtual consultations
  • Strategy sessions
  • Any packaged, custom, or one-on-one service offering

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If you cancel more than 72 hours before your scheduled session, you are eligible for a refund minus a 50% appointment holding fee.
  • If you cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled session, no refund will be issued.
  • Once a session has commenced or been completed, no refund can be provided under any circumstances.

The appointment holding fee exists to cover time reserved, preparation, and opportunity cost.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

  • If you reschedule more than 72 hours before your scheduled session, a credit will be issued that is valid for 6 months from the original booking date.
  • If you reschedule within 72 hours, a 20% rebooking fee will apply.
  • Each booking is eligible for one complimentary reschedule.
  • Any additional reschedules will incur a 20% rebooking fee per change.
  • All rescheduling is subject to stylist availability.

Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

LATE ARRIVALS & MISSED SESSIONS

  • If you arrive late, your session will proceed for the remainder of the scheduled time only and will not be extended.
  • If you fail to attend your session without notice, or cancel with insufficient notice, no refund, credit, or reschedule will be provided.

GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE

  • All services are sold in good faith and time is reserved specifically for you.
  • By booking, you acknowledge and accept these cancellation and rescheduling terms.
  • No refunds will be provided for:
    • Change of mind
    • Deciding the service is not suitable after purchase
    • Dissatisfaction with subjective outcomes
    • Failure to attend or participate fully

RESULTS DISCLAIMER

Our services and digital products provide guidance, education, strategy, and professional opinion.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, financial results, styling outcomes, or personal results. Purchasing from us acknowledges that:

  • Results vary from person to person
  • Implementation is the customer’s responsibility
  • No refund will be issued based on dissatisfaction with outcomes or subjective results

FAULTY OR INACCESSIBLE DIGITAL PRODUCTS

If you experience a genuine technical issue such as:

  • A corrupted file
  • A file that will not download
  • A file that cannot be opened

Please contact us at hello@victoriaellison.com within 7 days of purchase.

We will:

  • Fix the issue, or
  • Re-send the file, or
  • Provide access in an alternative format

This does not entitle you to a refund.

CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a remedy if a product or service:

  • Has a major fault
  • Is not delivered as described
  • Is not provided with due care and skill

In these rare cases, we will assess the issue and determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with the law.

CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

While we have never had this occur, we take chargebacks seriously.

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue:

  • We reserve the right to revoke access to any products, services, or content
  • We may refuse future service
  • We will provide this policy and proof of delivery to the payment provider
